"I learnt so much about the very complex situation and the tensions experienced by Arabs and Jews, but the hard work and planning that are being put in at grass roots levels to bring about empathy and understanding between the various groups, and these projects and programmes give one hope for the future" - Sue Platts, October 2019

Jenny Nemko and the Reverend Keith McNicol have led a group to the remarkable village in Israel. They were greeted with the opportunity to meet residents and discover first-hand the exciting programmes that are challenging extremism and helping the two Peoples (Israelis and Arab Palestinians) to understand one another further.

As well as an in-depth look at the three educational institutions - the bilingual and bicultural Primary School; the School for Peace and the Pluralistic Spiritual Centre - the group studied further the projects for peace from a Jewish, Christian and Muslim faith perspective.
